YEAH, SO I'VE ONLY READ THE FIRST FOUR VOLUMES (WHICH COVERS UP TO SANDMAN #28) BUT SO FAR I'VE REALLY ENJOYED IT. SANDMAN TO ME IS INTERESTING BECAUSE IT INVOLVES A LOT OF STORIES, MYTHS, AND FAIRYTALES THAT ARE ALL BROUGHT TO LIFE IN DIFFERENT WAYS THROUGH THE DOINGS OF THIS DREAM GUY, AKA "THE SANDMAN" (WHO, TBH, FOR AN IMMORTAL POWERFUL BEING CAN BE KIND OF FAILY). SOME PEOPLE MIGHT CALL IT EDGY IN THAT GAIMAN WAY BUT I FIND IT COOL.

IF I HAD TO REC ANYTHING, I WOULD SAY TO TRY THE FIRST VOLUME, WHICH GIVES YOU A DECENT INSIGHT INTO DREAM'S CHARACTER AND THE KIND OF PLOT THINGS THAT YOU'RE LIKELY TO SEE. YOU ALSO GET TO MEET DEATH, WHO IS DREAM'S OLDER SISTER AND A PRETTY AWESOME CHARACTER OVERALL.

THAT'S IT, I THINK. /RAMBLING

I LOVE NEIL GAIMAN, BUT JUST COULD NOT GET INTO SANDMAN. I GOT ABOUT HALFWAY THROUGH THE TRADES AND GAVE UP. I'M NOT REALLY SURE WHY (HELPFUL, INO), BUT I THINK PART OF IT WAS THAT I HATED THE ART. IT CHANGES WITH EVERY ISSUE, BUT I HATED ALL OF IT. THAT BEING SAID, I REALLY ENJOYED ALL THE INTRODUCTIONS. THOSE WERE SOME GOOD INTRODUCTIONS.
